Oscar and me
Both Oscar and me led the same life yesterday. So what happened? We went to see doctors yesterday.
After seeing my in house doctor, which issued me with medicine that did not work, I decided to visit another clinic as I cannot tahan the might coughing which is affecting my sleep. This time much better, he gave me antibiotics and my cough med. Plus, he gave me 2 days MC! Woo Hoo.....
Back to OSCAR, in the earlier post, I stated that he was vomiting and pooing until wed, but it started yesterday again. This time even worse, there is blood in his poo. So immediately, me and my dad brought him to the vet. So worried for him.
After seeing the doc and a jab, suspected that he might had eaten something off the ground and cause some infection and thus blood in this poo. There might be foreign body inside his stomach but the doctor could not feel anything inside.
It is funny to see Oscar being poked at the backside when the doc was taking the temperature. Haa... So he too came back with a bag of med and need a change of diet (fish porridge) as well. His medical bill also much more higher than me!
He is now feeling much better with no more poo and vomit alr.
Hope that he will be all ready to go sentosa with me 2molo! Hee...

Car
Car
Recently, met up with a few friends and the topic always will go to owning a car. Wonder y as everyone is in a hurry to own a car? Jz know yesterday that my close fren also jz booked a car. Well for him, I know he is going to get one sooner or later when he says he is looking at car only.
Here, cars are expensive as we need to buy a piece of paper call COE before we can buy a car. Although I got a licence to drive, but I never though of buying a car reason being:
1. No money to buy one and all the additional cost that comes with it.
2. I prefer to be driven then to drive.
3. The drivers here generally all impatient.
4. Hard to find parking lots.
5. Once I have a car, I will start to run around as well.
In short, I rather be the passenger. I dun mind buying a car if someone is willingly to drive me from point A to point B. Hee.... Come to think of it! I even decided what car I want to buy already. Hee.... Therefore at the moment if I am feeling lazy, I would take a cab. Hee... The amount of $$ that I spent on cabs now is still lesser than the monthly instalments for the car.
However, I rather use the $$ to do the things that I like to do eg. travelling, diving, food etc.
So to HW, hope that once you get the car, we still have chance to meet up since I think you will be bz with ur new toy. After all we are only acquaintance only and I know I not in your priority list. Hee...

Mega Combat and a Lonely Day
Mega Combat and a Lonely Day
Yesterday is one of the lonely day that I had to spent alone. So boring!
Yesterday is sort of gym day as the whole day was spent there. Hee... See... boring rite? Well had signed up for Mega Combat today and since I had alr signed up and got nothing to do, might as well go for it. Hee...
Before that I had decided to go for Body Pump since the day before I did not go for any gym session at all cos of the concert! Hee....
After which, I went for a swim and thought that it will be able to waste around 3 hours at the pool. The pool was split into half, with the other half was used for some teaching session. It is so fun to see that they actually conducted baby swimming lessons. So all the parents got to go down and swim with their babies. Hee... Glad to see that most of the dad are accompanying their babies to swim. it was so cute to see them. Hee.... Next time maybe can join the class with my kid as well. Hee...
Well then after 1 hour, I decided to stop swimming and spent the rest fo the time relaxing at Coffee Bean. Hee...
Mega Combat was held at the Fountain of Wealth @ Suntec City. Hmm... Even though the turnout was ok, but the organisation was quite bad as in terms of lousy PA (Hmm... di not do enough testing in the 1st place), wrong music played (DJ lousy?), music too soft unable to hear the instructions (testing fault again?), so therefore due to all the faults, there is a lot of breaks in between. All in all, the event was average lah. Haa... Got a free singlet and a goodie bag. Hee... I managed to get a shower before the crowd come in and leave the gym. Hee...
For the rest of the weekend was spent rotting at home less met up with SP for an overdue lunch on Sunday. Hee... Luckily the weekend is save by Jacky Cheung's Concert! Hee...
Someone is coming back soon!

Jacky Cheung's Concert: I had heard Song God sing!
Jacky Cheung's Concert: I had heard Song God sing!

Yesterday, together with Danny and SK, we attended Jacky Cheung's concert. We had spent $200 each for the top price tickets and I managed to get tickets on the 15th row from the front. Was it worth it? Definitely! Worth every cent of it!
The show started of with 3 of his fast songs and he was pretty rather nifty in his footsteps as well. Hee... Throughout the concert, he sang both Cantonese and Chinese songs both form new albums and his classics! Later half of the show, he got a 30 min segment as a showcase of his musical, "Snow Wolf Lake" and movie "Perhaps Love". It was great to showcase his other side of singing ability. I jz loved it! Cos I missed his musical and still sad about it. Sigh...
Encore came and it was an extended encore where he sang all his classics songs over his long career and almost everyone was on their feet. hee... it was jz great. The show lasted slightly less than 4 hours. A record man! Hee... it was one of the longest and the best concert I had ever been to! It is definitely top 2 in my list of my fav concerts!
It was interesting the see the vast age difference of the crowd, I think for ppl from age 1 to 100 in the crowd. The crowd is much more better here and more "on" as well. Hee...
However, can see some bad habits of the Singapore crowd and all this is showing no respect to the performer. Sad. They came in late, even though the ticket stated 8pm, there is still some people that came in after the show had started. Next happens when the concert had not even ended, there were people that jz stood up and left. What is the hurry? The concert had not ended yet leh. Sigh... Disgrace leh!
Well after the concert, we decided to hang out and have Taiwan porridge for supper. Too bad that this place is going to be tear down soon! Cannot think what the govt is thinking sometimes. Tearing down icons or trees jz like that! Wasting $$ at the same time especially when they reversed their decision.
So looking forward to another of his concert! Hope that it will not be another 5 year wait! Hee...

Dinner with ex-colleagues
Dinner with ex-colleagues
With a sms, out of the blue, from one my my ex colleagues inviting me for a dinner, yesterday managed to meet up with 10 of them and trying to catch up on how each other is doing right now. I had been meeting some of them in small groups and some of them tried to meet up for a very long time but they always flew me aeroplane (means cancel the gathering last min). Hee...
So yesterday was quite fun, as it is good to see them becoming frens as well. A lot of updates, especially to see that 2 of them going to be 1st time parent soon! Dun worry everything is going to turn out fine, and you all going to be great parents.
Something funny happened, when Ozy told me that a gal at the next table was looking at me and smiling when I am talking quite loudly as we are seating in a long table and makes it hard to chit chat. This happens a few times through the night. I did not see it as my side is facing her. Once back to my seat, I took a quick glance at the girl, and I go "OMG!" Hee.... As we were leaving I can see that her frens are even looking at me, checking me out. Hmm.... SO funny though.
It is fun having such gathering. We should have this more often. Dun worry I will be back in Sep. So till then... ... Wait for my return ok!

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix
Hee... Lucky Polarbear managed to win gala premiere tickets to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This time round, Shaw Lido is transformed into a mini Hogwarts.

This is based on the 4th book of the Harry Potter series. For me and my sis, being a fan of Harry Potter, we are happy that we can watch this show first hand. Hee... Well the screen not that big and the seats not comfortable for a 2.5 hours show, at least for the cinema that I was allocated. Still prefer Cathay anytime!
After watching the show, I can only say that, same for the rest of the 3 shows, it tries to be faithful to the book. This 4th book is the thickest of the 4 books (870 pages) and yet the film is one of the shortest. So what can you conclude? Hee... However the flow if the movie is still there and yet able to keep to the true essence of the book.
This movie / book introduces a few new characters:
Professor Dolores Umbridge, so call a spy from the Ministry of Magic planted by the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, as the new Defence of Dark Arts teacher. She is the villain in the movie. I hated her. Haa..... She is the one in pink.

Luna Lovegod is a student in Hogwarts that joined Harry Potter in their adventure. Strange and spacey looks as stated in the book.

The main two groups of the book is the Order of Phoenix set up by Albus Dumbledore and Dumbledore's Army set up by Harry Potter.

Overall, I give this movie 3.5 stars out of 5. Effects still good especially when they are practicing with the spells and the final scene. However I felt that the director missed out the fun stuff like Quidditch etc. The kiss scene between Cho Chang and Harry, err....., go and watch you will understand what I am trying to say lah. Over hype though. Haa....
As this movie is short, the scene time for all the actors are rather short. Especially to Sirus Black, Dumbledore etc.
A must see for all Harry Potter fans (jz make sure you watch it in a comfortable cinema) and I can't wait for the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to arrive at my door step on 21 Jul.

Max Brenner Chocolate Bar
Max Brenner Chocolate Bar
Polarbear is not a BIG Fan of chocolate. However when it comes to chocolate cravings, I would always go to my one and only chocolate place, Max Brenner Chocolate Bar. I would always bring my frens to this quiet little place as well. Everything inside there is about chocolate, hot, cold, ice blended etc. Till now, I could not find a place that serves better chocolate than this place. Hee....
I always order this 2 things when I am there.
Suckao that come in dark, milk or white chocolate and milk. So what you do is, depends how how thick you like your coco drink to be, you can add in the number of coco drops and amount of milk. This is the reason why I like this drink so much. Usually I go for dark chocolate for the bitter sweet taste. The stirrer cum straw that comes with it is also unique

Chocolate Fondue that come with dark, milk and white chocolate. This is the main reason cos no where else serves fondue like that, of cos this is what I know lah. Haa.... So with the fruits and bread and marshmallows that come with it, it is together a prefect match! I always like to do mix and match, which means dip the fruits into white coco then dip it again into milk or dark coco. It jz simply taste heavenly!

There is still a lot of other chocolate drinks offered there. Go there and try it! The souffle there is fantastic as well! It is also a must try.
It is located at Esplanade, be a bit patient when queuing. Have to say that the place is really under staffed so the standard of service could be below the par at times. However for the chocolate, all can be forgiven, at least for me. Hee...
Reminder too much chocolate at one go is bad ok! So dun eat too much also. Hee....

Live Earth: Saving the Planet
Live Earth: Saving the Planet
070707 makes environment day? Hee... I not sure but Live Earth concerts organised by Al Gore are happening around the world, 8 concerts at different places like New York, London, Sydney, etc, for 24 hours. This is done to bring awareness to the whole world about global climate changes. All lot of stars from all over the world joined in for the cause.
Hmm... So how effective was it? To me, not really, imagine the power required to power up for the concerts. I think the same amount of power can light up Africa for a very long period of time! Plus the private jets that the stars are always using, it does add more pollution right? Hmm..... After the concerts, the amount of trash being left behind is ... ... Talk about recycling then. Hmm.... Effective? I dun think so. More jz of the fun and get to see more stars performing under the same roof. Creating awareness? Hope it works. Hmm.....
What about here? Well we need more recycling bins for sure and to have more events on care for environment as well. For me, I think I will start of with using less plastic bags and start to recycle things more often. Not going to drive a car, since I cannot afford one as well. Haa.... I will do my part for the environment for sure, in order to save the Polarbears. What about you?
I dedicate this post to the event to create awareness as well. So this post will be in green! Hee....

Dim Dum Dollies in the History of Singapore
Dim Dum Dollies in the History of Singapore

This is the 3rd outing for the Dim Sum Dollies and I will give up anything so that I will not miss their show. Haa... Their last show being 2005, which was also my first time watching them, not counting The Little Shop of Horrors as one. Hee....
This time, the show is worth every cent of the ticket. Hee... It is fantastic, packed, funny and up to date as well. Haa... It is also like a mini celebration for National Day as well. Haa...
They brought us through the history of Singapore, from how to land was formed, to how many historians rejected Singapore cos it is too small, to how Nila (the guy that saw the lion) discovered Singapura (Cos his mother want him to do so. Haa...), to how Raffles landed, to how it modernise till today. There are laughter through the whole show. They are so good that they even managed to get some of the latest news as spoofs as well like the Spice girls reunion tour etc.
Of cos there is also "Chopsticks", Hossan Leong to provide the laughter with the Dim Dum Dollies as well. He should be part of the Dim Sun Dollies, without him, the show will not be as good alr. Hee... Of cos there is still 6 "lo mai guys".
Seems like the tickets are almost sold out. Go and watch it if can! Haa...

Little pleasures that makes Polarbear happy
Little pleasures that makes Polarbear happy
Today is quite a Happy day for me even though I had to went through torture before I can enjoy my fruits of labour. Haa... So finally after 2 days of slacking, I finally hit the gym again. Did Hi-Lo and first time tried Bootcamp. Wow was it tiring! Foor me at least. Haa....
Hi-Lo, this time round more like dancing, with all the twisting and turning, making me all giddy and forgetting my steps. Haa.... It was fun though.
Bootcamp different alr. It is something like the 5BX that I used to do during my BMT. I had been thinking of getting the rubber rope for sometime. It prove to be useful during the lesson. Hmm... Maybe I should get one as well. Hee.... It is plain torture for the class as everything is done 50 reps. Siao one. Hee...
Now come the pleasure part, since we ended quite late, I managed to get approval to eat one of the forbidden food, Fast Food. Hee... So off went to Mac to enjoy. It has been a long time since I last ate alr. Hee... Very hard to get approval though. Shared Grilled chicken foldover set meal with free 6 pcs nuggets and an apple pie. It is jz heaven after eating even though I am not full from the meal! Hee...
So happy after eating the meal! It jz reminds me of my childhood times!

Night of Laziness!
Night of Laziness!
Feeling lazy today so decided not to go to gym today but to do something else. Haa... Since LLT is going somewhere soon and need to change $$. So I am the bodyguard. Hmm... Seem like I did not know how to exchange rate goes about and created a joke out of it. Haa... Oh well, I can't be good in everything right? Haa...
After which, decided to try out a new Jap restaurant, Tom Ton @ The Central. I read the review for the place a dew days ago and wanna to try it out. The place is not a normal jap place but serves mainly Black Pig Meat. Hee.... Hmm... Sounds interesting right?
So how was it? It was great. Tender, juicy pork that melts in your mouth. Hee... Even LLT who dun like to eat pork, like it. Hee.... This means we can go back again! Yeh!!!!
Now let the pics say the thousand words.
Nice Fried Sweet Potato

Seafood set

Star Attraction: Black Pork Loin Cutlet

Look nice? Check out their website: http://www.cfc.com.sg/
After which, we decided to catch a movie, Hot Fuzz, a British comedy thriller.

It is the best cop (Nicholas Angle) was being sent to from London to the a small little town as he was being seen as a threat. However, the small little village does not seems to be as what it looks like. Sergeant Angel is all solve the mystery. With all action and humour inside the movie, this movie is the underdog of the year! Everyone should try to watch it. Overall, I give the movie 4.5 stars out of 5. One of the coolest police movies I have ever seen.

First Rock Climbing Session
First Rock Climbing Session
After yesterday tiring concert, I managed to wake up early in the morning @0730 for my first rock climbing session. I was freaking tired as I had attended two combat and one pump classes yesterday before I attended the concert. So even before the concert started, I was freaking tired alr.
So met up with the rest at Ah Kun for breakfast and we moved off to Safra Yishun! Some of us were excited about the whole thing cos it is our 1st time doing such things. Haa... Hmm... Dunno if I got a fear of height though. Haa....
So the course started off at 10am instead of 9.30am as stated. The whole morning is the theory part where they taught us about the equipments that are required for rock climbing and the techniques of belaying, which is the main purpose of the whole course. Haa... Climbing not so much in level 1. Got to say that the shoes used for climbing are special type of shoes and had to wear sizes that are 1 or 2 size smaller than what normally I am wearing, reason being they wanna the toes to be cramp togehter to ahve a better grip. Ouch!
Belaying is basically the person assisting the person climbing and the brake for the climber is he falls. Hmm.... So since I am not in the light weighted category, I wonder how many ppl need to belay me huh? Haa....
We started the real climbing in the afternoon. Heaven being good to us as the whole day had been cloudy and not much sun! So it is a good day to climb some walls. Haa... So I started to belay people on the walls. Seems easy but very stressed as that person's life is in my hands. Haa....
Other ppl seems to climb quite well, all the way to the top of the 25m wall. When it come to me, 1st time, I only managed like half of the wall before I decided that well that is good enough for the 1st try. Actually I was scare that the person(s) belaying me might not be able to take my weight for long. Haa... It is so scary when your life is dependent on other ppl hands. Haa.... The coming down part was scary. Hee...
So the 2nd time I climb was ok nearly reach the top but was stuck 3/4 way up as I could not find another tile to hold on, another point was I was tired. Looking down was scary as well. The rest of my frens like spiderman managed to reach the top though, with me belaying them. Haa....
Overall, it is fun. I still got 2 free climbs to be claim within this month. So who wanna to jio me go climbing? Provided you can belay a heavy weight polarbear ok? Hee....
Got pics but dun wanna to show you all the ugly ones. Haa...

Christina Aguilera's Concert Rocks!... Boring people watching!!!
Christina Aguilera's Concert Rocks!... Boring people watching!!!

This is my 1st time to the western artist concert. I am happy that I did not miss it as it is one of the BEST concert ever! It is nothing like those concert that I usually watched.
Everything from the music to the dancers to the sets are top notch grade! Of cos the star, Christina Aguilera, is in top form. Her singing is very powerful and clear, very CD like. Of cos good things come in small package and she is still very sexy. Lots of changes in costumes and sets. The 8 dancers are fantastic! So all in all it is one of the best concerts I ever been to! The only complaint is the concert is too short, only 75 mins instead of the usual 2.5 hrs for asian stars.
COMPLAIN TIME
Too bad even I thoroughly enjoyed at this concert, it was being marred by some idiots! People that dunno how to enjoyed themselves in a pop concert. BORING! BORING! BORING!
When the concert first started, Christina sang "Ain't no other man", of cos it did bring some of the ppl to their feet. Ppl that had attended concerts with me of cos know that I am one of those ppl as well even though I am the ONLY ONE who was on my feet enjoying myself around my area! After that song, some idiot came and tapped on my shoulders and asked me to sit down! I stared at that person and give him the "What are you doing here" look.
If you wanna to sit through a pop concert, you might as well go home, buy a dvd and watch. Cheaper than the ticket that you have bought! Idiot!
As I stay seated through the slow numbers, towards the end, the high part came when she sang the theme song for Moulin Rougue! Again, I stood up and was enjoying myself. This time round, an Ang Mo came about and rudely told me to sit as I was blocking her! WTF! WTF! WTF! I argued with her saying that the 2 gals standing behind me as well. If she want, she can ask the management to come and talk to me! IDIOT!
If you all dunno how to enjoy a pop concert, PLS DUN WASTE YOUR $$ and STAY AT HOME!
I shall cursed the both of you, whatever concert you will be attending, YOU WILL BE BLOCKED FOREVER! How dare you come and ask me to sit! YOU BLOODY IDIOTS! I got the good seats you all jealous. Next time go and buy your tickets early and block me then!
Ok now I am cooled down now. I am going back to rave about how good is the concert and how I had enjoyed myself in the concert, blocking some idiots view.
At the same time, National Stadium is doing its closing ceremony and sad to say the fireworks are pathetic. What a way for the fat lady to sing its last song!
Since there are tons and tons of ppl in the area, decided to hang out @ Cosy Bay for beer and food! It is a very cool place to be at chilling out as well especially got special company at the same time. Haa.....
Another concert coming up soon! So looking forward to it!

This month is pure fun and I had done a lot of things! Y? Cos I am having a break for my studies! Haa..... So this month I did all the things that I could not do when I am studying. Hee.... Of cos to spend more time with family and frens as well!
Movies: I watched 8 movies this month. Still ok lah. My fav have to go to Transformer and Surf Up. Hmm... had been watching a lot at Cathay instead at GV. Hmm.... Reason being? I also dunno. Haa.... Think GV must show more digital versions of movies.
Gym: Well did my first assessment, which told me to buck up! Also returned to do a lot of classes. Hee.... Also found something fun, Step 1 class. I finally decided to start running and have to say it was fun! Need to buck up more as decided to sign up for the Singapore Bay Run. Hee... 6 km run only lah. Still got Standard Chartered @ the end of the year.
Results: Yes I got back my results. Even though they are not very good, I am still happy as I managed to pass all of them. Haa....
Concerts: Started of with MayDay concert at the start of the month. As usual it is a 3 hours of jumping and standing! It was great and fun! Going for Christina Aguilera's concert tonight. It is my first Ang Mo concert. I am sure that it is going to be great as well!
Diving: I finally got to go diving. All thks to JJ and introduce a group of fun ppl as well! It was good to be back in water! Hee.... I wanna to do more!
Donuts: Yes! I got to eat Krispy Kreme donuts and not the Donut Factory one. No need to queue some more. Haa.....
Sick: After diving, I was down with fever and common flu. Think due to lack of sleep though. Hee... Had a great time sleeping and missing all my gym as well. Haa....

Transformers
Transformers

I won a pair of tickets for the Gala Premiere of Transformers @ The Cathay! I jz came back from the screening and I only got this to say... ...
Transformers is the BEST movie of this summer 2007! It is jz awesome!
The story still about Autobots and the Decepticons fighting over a cube, which contains power. So good vs bad again as usual. Autobots will try not to harm the humans during their missions but Decepticons will do anything to get their mission done.
Have to say the truth, when I first saw the trailer, it did not blew me away. In fact, I did not like the new metallic look for the robots. Usually the trailers are good but then the movie turn out to lousy, as trailers had shown most of the best stuff from the movies. However, for Transformers, the trailer not that good but then the movie turn out to be freaking good!
When the first transformer transform, my jaw dropped! It is really realistic and does not appear to be very fake looking also. Hee... Lots of explosion, lots of action and the story plot is simple and easy to follow as well.
Optimus Prime, looking more mature as a leader.

I was only a bit disappointed that they changed Megatron to a plane, but then how would StarScream hold a big gun then? So it is forgivable! Haa....

Bumble Bee got a new look, prefer the old car though even the new one looks hot!

Overall, I will give this movie 5 stars out of 5!
I am intending to watch it another time! Who wants to watch it with me again?
I want to buy transformer toys also! Optimus Prime, Bumble Bee. Anyone?

Krispy Kreme Experience
Krispy Kreme Experience
My only request for my sis to bring back form Hong Kong is Krispy Kreme Donuts! Reason being, I am too lazy to queue for donuts at Donut Factory and I have heard so much about Krispy Kreme Donuts! Haa....
Finally waited for a week, I went to airport with my parents to "fetch" my sister. For me it is the power of the donuts that made me go all the way to Changi! Haa...
Waited an hour for my donuts, oppz.... I mean my sis. Finally I saw the donuts in her hands. Haa.... I took over the boxes from her and yes the donuts are finally here! Haa.... Seems that a lot of ppl also like the donuts cos they are all holding boxes of it coming out from the arrival hall. Actually my mum saw it and was convinced that they should taste good. Hee....

These are the donuts that I had been waiting for a very long time! My sis bought 3 boxes, 36 donuts, all the way from Hong Kong. A box with original glaze and the rest assorted flavours.
Reached home, open up the boxes while other helped her to unpack. I took one of the original glaze and took a bite. It was great! Pure Happiness! I have never tasted such soft and fluffy donuts! They melt in your mouth and not in your hands. Hee... It is enough to make me fly to Hong Kong every 3 months so that I can eat the donuts! Haa... (Yes I know you will be saying "Crazy" now. Haa....)

Even though I had not tasted the ones @ Donut Factory, I had to declare that Krispy Kreme has the BEST donuts! Hee....
To share my new found joy, I shared the donuts with other ppl as well! Haa... Some of them found it to be too sweet for the liking, not for me though. Yes, I got a sweet tooth.
Out of so many flavours, I like the original glaze, cinnamon and apple, and those with jams inside them. Haa....
So who is going Hong Kong again? Care to bring me a box or 2 of donuts plssssssssssssss? Hee...

Progess of Gymming
Progress of Gymming
One of the things that came along with the gym membership was a fitness check and after a few changes of appointment (due to 1001 reasons), it finally happened! Haa...
So what is this test about? To test BMI and Wellness Age.
So what is wellness age?
It is actually your fitness age in comparison with your chronological age. For example, you may be 30 years old but your body is as fit as a 22 year old! That is good news. However that does not happen to me.
There are 5 main components in assessing your wellness age:
So all in all my age is 27 and my wellness age is 36. This means I have a body fitness of a 36 yr old man! OMG! *Faint* Sure getting old alr. Haa....
So there are 1001 things to improve on mainly from my weight to my fitness. Haa.... Now planning on the things that I should do to improve and the fitness trainer did give some useful tips on how I can start to improve on it. Hope that the next time I do the same test. I will have a small difference between the actual age and the wellness age. Haa....
Time really flies fast. I had joined the gym for 6 mths alr. Hee... Well my weight have dropped ard 8 to 10 kg. Hee... Pants a little loose, and now more active in sports I think. Haa.... I enjoy going to the gym and doing their classes and using their stations as well. It also give me the motivation when I see other ppl doing the same. Haa...
So now I think the main aim is to lose more weight, ard 18 kg more! Wow! That is a lot. At the same time to do more weights to train up on my muscles. Hee... At the same time still do the classes to build up on my stamina as well!
Now I am thinking if I should get a trainer to assist me in my goals? Hmm.....

Before the test, some of the facts I already know. Mainly I am unfit and overweight. Haa... So cannot hide that up.
The results I got:
- Blood pressure: Mild on the high pressure side.
- Body composition: Obese, in other words, Very Fat!
- Cardiovascular or stamina rating: Fair but need to improve on it.
- Muscular strength: Between average and good
- Flexibility: Poor. Well I always fail this anyway! Haa....

Hmm.....

Busy Busy Weekend!
Busy Busy Weekend!
Haa... A lot of things happen through this weekend. Lots of things to blog. Haa.... I think I will break them into parts.
Friday night, finally met up with HW. Haa... Partly to see him to make sure he is ok. Hee... Did usual stuff like dinner and shopping then movies. Haa.... So what did we watched? Spider Lilies.

It is about a webcam girl, trying to get a tattoo to spice up with her online customers. Happened to met up with her old neighbour who is her tattooist as well. She saw this spider lilies tattoo on the wall and wanted to do the same as well but did not know the meaning behind the tattoo. Meantime, she also professes her love for tattooist online and tries to seduce her as well.
Overall the movie is good but dun quite like the flashback here and there, keep repeating the same old things, tend to make it boring and confusing as well. I give the movie 3 stars out of 5.
On Sunday, managed to watch Surf Up, a cartoon.

Surf's Up is an animated comedy that delves behind the scenes of the high-octane world of competitive surfing. The file profiles teenage Rockhopper penguin Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf), an up-and-coming surfer, as he enters his first pro competition. Followed by a camera crew to document his experiences, Cody leaves his family ad home in Shivepool, Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for the Big Z Memorial Surf Off. Along the way, Cody meets surf nut Chicken Joe (jo Heder), famous surf promoter Reggie Belafonte (James Woods), surf talent scout Mikey Abromowitz (Mario Cantone), and spirited lifeguard Lani Aliikai (Zooey Deschanel), all of whom recognize Cody's passion for surfing, even if it sometimes goes too far. Cody believes that winning will bring him the admiration and respect he desires, but when he unexpectedly comes face-to-face with a washed-up old surfer named Geek (Jeff Bridges), Cody begins to find his own way, and discover that a true winner isn't always the one who comes in first.
Quite like this show and the meanings behind the movie as well. Like the way they drew the water of the sea to be so realistic and makes me want to jump in as well. Overall, I give the movie 4 stars out of 5. Great cartoon!
Hmm... still got a few more movies to watch till the end of summer!
Will follow up with what happen over the weekend in the next few post. Haa.....

Finally... Confirmation!
Finally... Confirmation!
Hee.... After some delay here and there, I finally received my confirmation letter on my current job! Haa.... Hmm... Should be confirmed on 1st May but then now then got letter. Haa.... Well better late than never. Got some surprises in the letter as well!
These few days, I started to go back to gym! Haa... Nearly coughed to death for the classes. I decided to take it slow so did not really go all way out for all the classes. After a week of slacking, my muscles started to ache as well.
One thing good from the illness is I get to lose weight and I lost at least 3 kg. Hmm.... Still remember that my weight shot back up before I was sick and even threaten to create a new record. Haa... Now it went down to the weight that I am happy with. Haa...
Seems like my appetite turn smaller now. I dun have any craving to eat any of my happy food less duo hua. Haa... I am a duo hua siao now! Haa....
Well at least someone is happy with my weight loss and loss of appetite. Haa....
My sis away for a HK trip for one whole week. So envy her! She better buy back the things that I asked her to buy! Haa...
I am feeling tired these few days! I think I need more sleep. ZZzz.....

Movies time after Recovery
Movies time after Recovery
Falling sick is always a sign from your body telling you that you need a rest! That is what happen to me last week and I make sure I really rest until enough. Haa.... I had been sleeping so much that I did not even on my PC at home for the past one week as well. Haa....
So too weak to go to gym and shopping, and I dun want to rot at home already. Well I do need some fresh air! Movies seems the next best thing to do! Haa... I know boring but then I also got movies to catch up ok! So first stop, Zodiac! I had been wanting to catch this show for sometime. GV only showing it at GV Vivocity @ Europa where each ticket cost $10! So what is so good about the cinema? Hmm...

This is a based on the true story of one of the most intriguing unsolved crimes in the nation’s history. As a serial killer terrifies the San Francisco Bay Area and taunts police with his ciphers and letters, investigators in four jurisdictions search for the murderer. The case will become an obsession for four men as their lives and careers are built and destroyed by the endless trail of clues. The movie is quite thrilling and builds up as the police always seem so close to get the murderer but had to let go due to lack of evidence. I give the movie 4.5 stars out of 5, for keeping me at the edge of the seat at times!
Next watched Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Yes finally got to watch this show. Me and LLT thought that no one will be watching the show so I decided to get the tickets at the cinema. Cannot believe it when we were told that only front rows seats are available. WOW! So many ppl had not watched the show yet meh? Haa... It had been showing for 3 weeks alr leh! Knowingly it is a near 3 hrs show, I decided to go and buy the tickets! Poor LLT got to watch it 2nd time with me! Hee...

The movies picks up from the 2nd movie and continues from there onwards. They went to free Cpt Jack Sparrow, hold a pirates meeting and had a big fight with the EIC. Haa... It is interesting how they managed to put Singapore into the movie and it makes it looks no difference from China though. Haa.... It was a cool pirates movie which closes a chapter and opens another one towards the end. So does this means a 4th movie coming soon? Hmm.... Overall, I give the movie 4 stars out of 5.
These 2 days had a fun time jz roaming outside. Haa... The weather so gloomy one. Not a lot of sun like last week where I got tons and tons of sunlight. Finally got to replace my laptop hard disk (Thks to SK!).
The weekend ended with a very fun dinner with all sorts of topics and complaints session going on! Haa...
Sigh a weekend coming to an end soon! So sian going back to work again!

Polarbear have recovered!
Polarbear have recovered!
After almost a week of fever and common flu, in other words torture, I am on the road of recovery. I think what I lack off was sleep. I have slept enough for the past few days to clock a new sleeping record for myself.
However I am still feeling a bit weak though. So I think I will still keep away from gym until next monday.
For the past few days, I had been eating duo hua for dinner, so poor thing hor. But I also dun have appetite to eat other things as well. Poor me.
Well look on the bright side, it is a good time for me to take a rest and sleep all I want to. Haa... Feeling so shiok to sleep so much as well.
So look out as Polarbear is all ready to go out and play!

A fun weekend diving trip @ Pulau Dayang
A fun weekend diving trip @ Pulau Dayang
The last weekend was well spent with a group of fun people and doing something that I loved doing as well. Scuba Diving! Come to think of it, I had not been diving for the past 1 year alr. I had missed the sun, the sand and the sea. Of cos the underwater world as well.
This time, I will be going to Pulau Dayang for the dives. It is a small little island 5 hrs away from Mersing. Everything is back to the 50s on that island, from standard of living, a small little hut with 2 double deck beds inside and a simple toilet, no TV or handphone reception, back to old simple kampong life.
The trip usually is on a punishing schedule.
Fri, 2000H: Meet at Causeway
Sat, 0000H: Reach Mersing Jetty
Sat, 0430H: Reach Pulau Dayang
Sat, 0500H: Check in room
Sat, 0800H: Wake up call
Sat, 0830H: Breakfast
Sat, 0900H: 1st Dive
Sat, 1200H: Lunch
Sat, 1330H: 2nd Dive
Sat, 1500H: Tea Break
Sat, 1530H: 3rd Dive
Sat, 1700H: Break
Sat, 1830H: Night Dive
Sat, 2030H: Reached Jetty, Bath
Sat, 2100H: Dinner
Sat, 2200H: Light Out
Sun, 0700H: Morning Call
Sun, 0730H: 5th Dive
Sun, 0900H: Breakfast
Sun, 0930H: 6th Dive
Sun, 1100H: End of Dive, Pack up
Sun, 1245H: Ferry back to Mersing
Sun, 1700H: Reach Mersing Jetty
Sun, 2000H: Reach Causeway
Sun, 2100H: Back to Singapore, Home Sweet Home
Wow now come back to think of it, it is really packed and tiring and I did not feel anything when I m diving though. Haa....
So for this trip Dayang still looks the same, peaceful and quiet. The water still in their crystal blue with all the corals and fishes inside. Haa....
The dives are good except now I need more weight on my weight belt. Hmm... Does that mean I am more floatable now? Hmm..... Manage to see a lot of things this time round, saw a huge sea turtle, and crabs during night dive, saw sting ray, trigger fish and many other types of fishes that I dun even recognize them as well. The water was warm yet cooling. It seems that I am always the one to use up all my air in my tank. Seems like my appetite for air had increased. Wonder what had happen even though I try to slowly release all my air. Hmm.... Maybe I need to redo my buoyancy test again.
The food, Hmm.... this time round the food is not that good. More normal food nothing to wow about. Last time the BBQ was great though!
The company. This time round the group of people are fun and crazy to be with. Talked almost everything under the sun and always filled with laughter!
I also got myself a very healthy tan from all the sun, sand and sea. Something that I did not have for a very long time as well.
This trip is worth the money and the time for it. Hope that for the next trip I will be able to go with someone for her Open Water Certification! *WINK*WINK*
Bad side of the trip: I developed high fever on the next day and 1 day MC and still pretty sick now. Hope that I can recover soon and get back to my usual activities! Someone is getting bored alr!

Ocean's 13
Ocean's 13
Today and 2molo, I will be away from office to attend a course. Haa... So fun to get out of office to do something different for a while. The trainer was good though.
After which, I was late for combat class. Then I jz went through the motion for the whole class even though the instructor saw me slacking away and tried to push me harder though. Haa...
Since me and LLT decided to catch a movie after gym, we rushed to the cinema to find that the show (Zodiac) I wanna to watch only left front row seats, so we gave up and bought Ocean's 13 instead. Then we also bought Pirates tickets as well next monday since I am so bent on watching the digital version as well. Kiasu right? Haa....
Since we got 1 hr before the show, decided to do some shopping and in the end bought the adidas t-shirt that I was eyeing on all the time and could not get it at a discounted price at RSH. Since I was there thinking about should I buy it, times flies and we got no time for dinner and have to smuggle kaya bread into the cinema. Haa....

Ocean's 13 was the 3rd movie, I watched the 1st one but not the 2nd one). In this star studded movie, the idea of this show was more or less the same as the 1st movie. It turns out to be great! The way they carry out their revenge and the way they planned their every move was great! I give the movie 4 stars out of 5. Feeling the grove with retro in the movie.
After which went for my fav Rochor "duo hua" as dinner cum supper, then I went home to pack for my diving trip 2nite. Hee... Finally After more than a year I am going to see my underwater frens again!

Men In White
Men In White
Met up with HW today. Hmm... keep having this feeling that he want to jio me out but then I was bz over the weekend. So I decided to jio him out instead. Hee... Then hor it seems that he was not very interested. Haa...
Decided to watch a new local made movie that jz released, Men In White. I know that HW will like this movie as it is a comedy, in chinese and different dialects and it is a crappy show. Haa....

After watching the movie, it was really funny and crappy at the same time. The movie revolving around five cowardly and clueless Singaporean ghosts – a badminton player (Shaun Chen), a gangster girl (Ling Lee), a housewife (Alice Lim) and two hip-hop rappers (Ben Yeung & Xavier Teo), Men In White tells of their misadventures as they stumble through the bizarre rules of ghost-hood.
It was funny when the movie started and it started asking questions about ghost like what food do they eat, do they go to toilet and shit, etc? Then the focus went to the 5 ghost and what they did was funny as well. However midway thru the show, the movie went nosedived when most of the jokes dried up. Overall, the movie was a good movie for weekdays only, 3 stars out of 5.
Had a nice nite to catch up with HW and if you want to ask me out next time, jz ask me direct ok? I will sure make time for u one. Haa....

Stressful Step I
Stressful Step I
After deciding for sometime between movie and step, we decided to go for Step!
Hmm.. After my last experience with Step I last week, I thought that I will be able to handle it well enough. Oh boy! I was so wrong! It started off slowly where things started step by step, however things get complicated when the tempo gets faster and there are more steps to be memorised! All these after a day of work! Haa....
Crazy!
I think I made more mistakes as I cannot concentrate as I was tired and my brain was functioning slower than usual. So I stood there when I got lost and the instructor jz looked at me and kept asking me to carry on. So embarrassed leh! Haa...
After yesterday new combat moves and step, I think these few days my mind is wondering off as I am so bz at work now! Haa...
So looking forward towards my diving trip at end of this week!

Athen, My nephew
Athens, My nephew
Tired after Mayday concert and a swim this morning (OK! More like lazing in a pool), I moved off to my nephew 1st month party! Wow! Come to think of it, I had not seen him since birth cos I was bz with my work and exams! Haa.... So excited to finally see him! Haa....
See he so cute right? Yes he is cute! His mum asked me this question like 5 times!

Spent a lot of time playing with him but then he jz decided that he shall sleep throughout the whole party. Then even he sleeps, he still so cute stretching here and there, making faces at the same time! Haa...
So spent the day rotting, watching DVD (Transformers cartoons), sleeping and catching up with some of my cousins. Too many kids in a day and sort of made me crazy! Too rowdy at times as well. Haa...
So now I m officially an UNCLE. Getting old! Wait till he started to call me "Uncle"! I think I will freak out leh!

MayDay Concert Rocks!
MayDay Concert Rocks!
.jpg)
Jz came back from the most tiring concert of the year, MAYDAY's concert! Oh boy was it great and tiring from all the hand swinging, jumping and standing. Haa.... I think my butt only touch the $150 seat for less than 5 mins during the concert. Haa...
So before the concert, we meet up with a group of frens at vivocity. Since someone is back from some country, he decided to jio all of us out. Sushi Teh we went, 1st time being there was surprised by the good food there as well. A lot of catch up to do since had not met up with the rest for sometime as well. So much fun! So are we going to meet up before you fly off again? I WANNA my "tau gay" chocolate from the bald guy ok!
After which, we moved off for the concert with HC, her 1st MayDay concert? Haa... A lot of ppl heading to the same place as us, EXPO, super ulu lo! Can hold it at indoor stadium next time a not? The concert was a sold out one so expecting at least like 8000 ppl there! Wow! Went in found our seats and have to say that I am quite pleased with the seats even though we did not buy the tickets at IMM. Hee...
Next, people started calling me to ask me if I had arrived and I went around looking for ppl as well. Haa... So in the end, HL, Rachael, Cannie and JJ were there as well. Haa.... LLT and HC also got their frens there as well. Haa... All waiting for the concert to start!
Lights dimmed and screams were heard, then a video started and Mayday no where to be seen! The theme for this concert is to leave the surface of the earth, and I think about the harmful things that are happening around the world now like environment, terrorism etc. The video took 20 to 30 mins before Mayday appeared and everyone was on their feet. Not everyone was willingly to stand but then if the guy in front of you stand. you cannot see, so you have to stand as well. I got the aisle seat so I got a big place to stand. However it was soon invaded by the ppl seating me. Sianz! At least they did not block my view though. Well at least the security guard/usher could have done something!
Mayday sang for a full 1 hour and 17 songs before they take a break. Crazy! Till now it is much more better than MAMBO last wed alr. Haa.... Although they talked less but then all the songs sang were great! Spent a lot of the time doing LOVE in "YMCA" style and before we know it, they were singing their last song. So sad. They did returned for an encore and again it was thumping and rocking all the way to the end. It is like running for 3 hrs! Plus all the shouting and singing, my throat also about to give way as well!
Lucky got HC fren to drive us out of EXPO, it is almost impossible to catch the last train or a cab. We got off at balastier and took a cab home from there. Reached home in record time!
I felt that the last concert was better than this one in terms of the concert pace. This concert started off too slowly (due to the video) and sort of moving slowly to the "high" part. Overall it is still one of the best concert ever attended where everyone was on their feet!
Oh yah can someone inform them that our National Stadium is going to be torn down from 30 Jun onwards and the new one will not be up by 2010. So if they come next year, they only can do it at EXPO or indoor stadium.
So looking forward to their next concert! 2 down, 2 more concerts to go!

Shrek The Third
Shrek The Third
Today is a happy day! After work today, went to gym then moved off to Wakuru, a jap restaurant, where the food was quite good, the price was also reasonable as well.
Next we watch Shrek 3.

Again, this is the 3rd one in the series, it did its usual stuff by mocking all the fairy tales and add in a twist to it as well. This time round Shrek is supposed to take over as King however he did not want to so he had to find the next in line successor, Artie (voice by Justin Timberlake) and all the wonder things that happened along the way as well. This time round, Shrek also had to deal with fatherhood as well another nightmare for him. Donkey was different, he was a father to 4 babies a mixture of dragon and donkey, so cute! So did Shrek found the successor? Hmm.... Well have the say that the story ended "Happily ever after"... ... Overall I gave this movie 3.5 stars out of 5.
After which took a long bus ride home, dun think will ever take that bus again as it is going in circles, rather pay for cab then to waste the time.

End of May 07
This whole month nothing much happened though cos the most important thing was MY EXAMS! Boring! Hope that I can pass the 2nd paper! That is all I am hoping for. Nothing much!
Due to my exams, I only watched like 3 movies this month. A new RECORD for me! Though I watched Spiderman 2 times! I jz loved it!
Using exam as a valid reason, Haa..., I did not go to gym as often as I used to. End result, I got fat again! Haa... Kena complain already! That y now bz doing damage control. Haa...
Since I got back to HQ, my workload had been increasing! I had given up hope on going back to the old place but then I am still hoping. Haa.... So busy here leh!
Well now jz chilling out one corner and trying to get my life back! Quite a number of activities for next few months. Concerts, Play, Diving and many more! Cool! Haa....

Never go MAMBO when next day is a holiday!
Never go MAMBO when next day is a holiday!
Since 2molo is Vesak Day, decided to jio a grp of "clubbers" to go MAMBO. It was to clock my quota as well, as I can only club once every 3 mths. Haa.... A rule that I set to myself! Haa..... Discipline right?
So I started sending out invitations a month ago and ppl started to reply and before I know it, I got a grp of considerable big grp. Good huh? But the worst is yet to come... ...
Well then the day arrive and then ppl start to fly aeroplane. Expected but still sian! Haa... I am used to it as I am always the organiser for outings you see! So during the day, I became the airport controller, trying to "depart" my fren's aeroplanes from my airport. All together I got 4 aeroplanes taking off with the last one departed jz 2 hours before the meeting time!
So even though the airport was bz, I still got a grp of 7 ppl that joined me that night. So happily went to Zouk and then saw the crowd. My jaw dropped! Really Ppl mountain, ppl sea! Lucky the queue was moving quite fast and we were in within a few mins. Soon the whole place was packed to sardines, can't even move!
My frens who are late arrived and were stuck in the queue outside. So after a long wait my frens decided to go to other places then. Sigh... ... It seems like I nvr have the fate to club with HW. Sad... .... Even though not his fault for being late and had to end up queening outside. Intended to drink the night with him though. Next time bro!
Place packed like sardines nvr mind then the worst thing happened! THE MUSIC SUCKS! Even though it was MAMBO nite, the music is NOT! I think the DJ got Vesak Day mood, played the usual MAMBO songs with all the weird slow songs in between that killed the mood of everyone! No one is moving in the dance floor leh! Haa....
Another reason y no one is moving at the dancefloor cos too many ppl got drunk too early alr! By midnite, I think got more than 5 drunk ppl surrounding our grp, both male and female! Well I hate that. If you cannot drink, DUN DRINK at all, drink fruit punch! Lie there like a dead body or doing silly things when it is already freaking packed and no other places to move. Their friends also very funny lo. Friend drunk already, still can take their drunk photo and started laughing at it!?! A bit...... DUH! If I got this kind of friends, I would make them drunk and then stripped them naked and leave them out in the streets! Of cos need to take photo and laugh as well!
So due to the above factors we decided leave early, now is the challenging part! We got to squeeze though tons of ppl to get out while someone decided to lose a bracelet and go back and look for it! This is not the first time she lost something though! Haa.... A bit erhh...... Pls fill in the blank. Finally we are out after squeezing tons and tons of ppl and headed for prata.
This is the 1st time, I did not dance at MAMBO, I did not sweat at MAMABO and it was NO FUN at all!
Lesson learnt: Never go MAMBO when next day is a holiday! I rather take half day leave the next day!

Deal or No Deal?
Deal or No Deal?
Deal or No Deal is the latest gameshow on Ch 5 and after watching it for a few times, I begin to love show. Y? Haa....
1) Adrian Pang is a great host for the show. He knows how to pace and control the mood of the show.
2) The 26 gorgeous ladies holding the 26 suitcases. Need to say more? *Nose Bleeds* The way they walk down the staircase to the way they talk and wish the contestant good luck! *Faint*
3) The game format is brainless. Choose a suitcase that you think holds $250,000 and then slowly open up the rest of the suitcases and hope that they dun contain $250,000. The banker will offer you a sum of $$ to buy back the suitcase. Either you take the offer or no deal. It is all about luck and guts! No blood no glory!
4) The wacky contestants. Haa... I find it fun to see them succumb under stress. Haa... I wished to be in their shoes also and see me how I will react under stress. Haa... Will I be as cool as a cucumber? Hmm....
The only thing bad thing bad about the show is the audience! Every deal also no deal, no deal! Of cos la, easy for you all to say that cos not your $$ mah! @(*#^%(!*^#@%
So have you caught the show alr? If not what are u waiting for? Every Wednesday, 8.30pm.

First time on Step I
First time on Step I
Today was our both first time to Step I class and boy was it interesting! Haa....
So after going to Combat and Pump classes mainly, we decided to try out for other classes. This time round it is Step I. Haa....
Firstly, we waited at the wrong room. When we rushed to the correct room, it was packed. Had to squeeze. The ppl there very good, let us have some space for us to put our boards.
Secondly, as it is 1st time in Step class, we were asked to go to the front of the class. Haa.. Luckily we did that, if not we would have given up in the first 10 mins. Haa... The class is very quite simple. You need to follow the steps and then join them together and do it in a faster pace. It feels like MAMBO expect that this time only legs are moving and the upper body is not moving at all. Haa...
Thirdly, the instructor is very patient with us. Keep repeating all the steps for us. Even though I keep making the wrong moves, he stills shows us the following moves.
Lastly, he extended the lesson and did a lot of complex moves. Haa...
Overall had fun at the lesson. We have to work hard to make it look good and nice when we are moving. Haa... If not we will look like robots. So now every Tuesday, we will be attending this lesson without fail I think. Haa...
Right now, my leg are super aching! Haa... 2molo how?

Mars Vs Venus
Mars Vs Venus
Recently, I always will try my best to reach home before 9pm to watch a local made drama series, "Mars Vs Venus". To me, this is one of the rare times that I would watch a local made series. Y? Cos it is a show with great acting and a good story plot! Yesterday was the last episode for the series and I was sad to see it go like that! Haa...
So what was the show about to make me go home and catch the show?
The story surrounds 3 couples, a married couple with kids, a jz married couple and a couple with affair problems and how their lives goes about. I think the storyline comes from the Man are from Mars and Women are from Venus. It shows how couples should relate to each other when solving problems or should say what is the right way to solve a problem when the need arises.
I can laugh with the show and at the same time, thinking that how would I react when the same problem happen to me in the real life? Would I react in the correct way and not to make my the other half unhappy? Can say that I learnt a lot from the show and hope that I can put it to practise. Haa...*Wink* You get the hint? Haa.... You also the same ok! Haa....
Watching the show also bring back some of my younger times memories. When I was young, my parents used to quarrel a lot and always bring divorce up. Then my mum will ask me who I wanna to follow. Well I would always cry and say I dun wanna to follow anyone of them or I only follow two of them together. Haa... To think of it, when a couple divorced, the children are the ones being hurt the most! Luckily my parents only say say and never action. I cannot imagine me with either my dad or my mum. Hmm.... Scary!
Now in my current phase of life, I am more like the second couple. Haa... Blissful but no in a hurry to get married yet. Haa... Then we are not as mushy as them also. Haa... Hope that we dun drag that long until like the old woman got to proposed to the old man ok! That is so funny! Haa... What happen to this second couple is lack of trust. Well how can she react when she was betrayed by her husband and her best friend? Hmm... Trust is a very important thing in relationship. Something that both needs to build on it. I am glad to see that we trust each other a lot and able to give each other lots of free time as well. Well we still got lots of improvement to be made though. Haa....
So now the show is over, nothing much for me to look forward to on weekdays 9pm now. Unless the new show is as good. Haa....

Things that I wanna to do after exam.
Things that I wanna to do after exam.
Since my exams are over and no use crying over it, I decided to start planning what to do till my exam results are released. Haa.... Actually started planning even before the exams ended. Hee...
1st thing, to start my gym routine again! I have sort of like stopped gym for 3 weeks for my exams (Yes I know it is not a very good reason!), and plus lots and lots of happy food (I eat a lot when I am stressed out), I have put back some of the weight that I have lost! Sigh! So now got to work hard and lost all the weight I have gained and more, in order to meet the target I have set! Plus someone had been laughing me and saying I am a PIG! Sob! Sob!
2nd thing, so many summer blockbuster movies to watch! I have only watched Spiderman 3, still got the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Shrek 3, Transformers, Ocean 13, Harry Potter and many more to watch! So many movies and so little time! Plus all the advance bookings nowaday, it seems impossible to buy movies tickets on that day itself! So usually will wait for a week before I can watch the show after it opened. Well better late than never! I also try to watch all of them in the digital format if available as the sounds and the colors are much more better than the usual film format, at the same price some more!
3rd thing, YES! I am finally going to do some diving in Jun! All thks to JJ! I had not dived since my last dive in Apr last year! Boy I missed the underwater world so much! This year I intend to do at least 2 to 3 more dives and hope that I can do my rescue diver course as well. Haa.....

Haa.....

28 Weeks Later
28 Weeks Later: The Movie
Well after my paper yesterday, decided to take a small break and watch a movie with LLT then, decided on "28 Weeks Later" cos someone wanna to watch a horror show. Hmm....

Well the movie carries on from the 1st movie "28 Days Later" where the whole of London is wiped out and almost everyone was infected by the virus. When one family was reunited and the kids decided to take things into their own hands and go back to their own home which is in the unsafe zone. They found their mother who is supposed to be dead. She was a carrier of the virus but was not affected by it.
She was brought back and then husband got infected and the mass infection started from there. The whole plot was not much different from the last one and the pace was pretty packed as well. Plenty of blood and gory though. Haa.... Overall gives the movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.
So much for the little break, had been back to office, still much things waiting for me to do. Sigh! Haa.... Got to work hard both in work and in studies. The next exam is going to be tough subject. Hmm....

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day
Today is Mother's Day and I want to wish my mother as well!
I hardly talk about my family member here. So I am going to talk about my dearest Mum. Hee....
I am in a close relationship with my mum since young. To me she is a strict and tough mother when I was young, yah used to get caning from her a lot and almost every month, she will asked me to pack my bags and go out of the house. Hmm... This does not mean that I am very naughty then, jz naughty only. Hee.... Well all for my own good as she scared that I might turn into a bad boy then. Hee....
When I was sick, she and dad will take turns to take care of me as well. Hee... I was very spoiled then as I would stay in bed and shout out to them if I need anything like a drink. Hee...
My mum is a excellent cook. To me, no one else cooks better than her. I am pampered with her food and she will always, well most of the times, my fav dishes. Hee... When it comes to cooking and baking, I am proud of her. So far, my frens who had tasted her cooking, had only good comments. Haa....
My mum had been very supportive of me as well in whatever I decided to do, even though sometimes she dun like. Take the diving issue, 10 years ago, she dun allow me to go and take up diving. In the end, I decided to jz go for it and inform her later. Till now, she got no problems with me diving, less a certain month. Hee....
We do have differences in views at times and some disagreement here and there, even then we will have a short cooling down period before everything gets back to normal. Both of us have very short fuses at times though.
Well, there is a scare for my mum's health a few years ago and got the whole family worried. Luckily, it turn out to be nothing. After which she turned into this health freak, cooking for healthy food and more juices to drink. Hee....
Well my mum turns clever this year, instead of a family meal, she decided she wanna a present instead and still looking for one. Hope that she will not look for a too expensive gift.
Happy Mother's Day, Mum! I love you!

Time to relax a bit!
Time to relax a bit!
After submitted my full of crap assignments, I decided to give myself some time off. Hee... Picked up my phone and managed to get HW to go out or some chill out time, so happy as he "sacrificed" his studying time to go out with me. Well someone else was sleeping then. Hee....
So off to orchard we went and decided to catch a movie since everyone else is watching Spiderman at the moment, we decided to watch something else, "Summer Palace", showing at 2.30am in the morning. Since we were very early, we hang out or should say pig out at NYDC. Something very strange happened there, the waitress seems desperate to asked us to order the oven baked rice/pasta and even promised to add extra toppings for us. Telling us that sandwich is not worth it etc, which is true. Haa... So in the end I ordered one and she did what she said. Haa.... Well NYDC will and always be one of my fav hangout place cos of MUDPIE and FARMBOY SALAD.

So the movie "Summer Palace" is a true story from a gal's diary and it is about she leaving her small village and her relationship with a guy in uni, in the midst of a volatile backdrop of political unrest.
Well have to say that the hype of the movie is, it is one of the more daring movies out from China and the director was actually banned as the movies was shown without going through China's approval then. Maybe watching the movie at 2.30am in the morning was not a good idea. Due to the slow pace of the movie, I find it quite boring, however the acting was quite good by the actors. Overall I give the movie 3 stars out of 5.
Reached home at 5.30am and to only find myself woke at 8.30am for gym. YAWN! Went to vivocity for pump and combat. Boy I was totally knocked out by it. Me slacked alr. Got to work hard to lose more weight and to get fitter! Sad to say that when I stressed out, I loved to eat! That is the reason y my weight regained a bit recently. Haa...
After that, went to catch Spiderman 3 in digital 4K. Was lucky enough to get last row seats instead of front row seats. It was crazy it opened 6 days ago and seems like every show is still sold out!

The story of Spiderman 3 goes like "Peter Parker basks in the spotlight with his public success as his superhero alter ego, Spider-Man. Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy pursue Parker for his affections, and Parker begins to grow overconfident, neglecting those who care for him. As Spider-Man, he battles Sandman and his former friend Harry Osborn. During this time, an unusual symbiote bonds with Spider-Man, influencing his behavior for the worse. As a result, Spider-Man has to fight the villain within, until he finally tears the symbiote from his body. After parting from Spider-Man, the symbiote finds a new host in Eddie Brock, Jr., who becomes Venom. In addition to Spider-Man facing the symbiote, Sandman has an unclear role in his contact with Peter's Uncle Ben, before Ben's death in the first film."
This Spiderman movie is the BEST out of the 3. I jz loved it! The story line was believable even though they made Spiderman very humane with tons of feelings! The CGI was at the best, with everything in the movie look so real. Watched it in digital 4K, the colours, sound everything seems like multiplied 100 times! Overall I give the movie 4.75 stars out 5. Jz dun like they made Spiderman too human, after all he is a superhero alr. Hee... Hope that there will be more Spiderman movies to come.
Ended the day meeting a fren for something. Boy he upgraded his car to an AUDI dunno what! Seem like he is doing very well, unlike me. Sigh.. Poor me. Haa...
So now weekend over, 2molo going to start on my revision, my exmas will be on 16th and 22nd May. If there is no updates, means that I am and will be busy studying. Haa... Wished me all the luck I need. Hee... So if you wanna to jio me go out and play, it had to be after 22nd 2230hrs ok! Hee......
