The Simpsons

The Simpsons

After 18 years of waiting, it finally makes it to the big screen. Hee...

The movie started off very promising with the usual tactics of laughing at one self. I like the part where Homer was saying "I can't believe people actually pay to watch something free on TV." Haa.... That is so right!

The theme on the show is about family and environment. As usual both the hero and the villain is Homer Simpson. He adopted a pig (Spider Pig), throw the crap into a river the the whole place was so polluted that The President had to order to place a dome over the town of SpringField to contain the contamination. Well he did no thinking as he is elected TO LEAD AND NOT TO READ! Haa...

After it happen the whole town got to know that the pollution was caused by Homer, the whole family decided to escape by a hole found by Maggie. Homer decided to run away with the family to Alaska (dunno what they are thinking?) but then the family decided to go back and save SpringField. This also shows the love between Marge and Homer, and the problems that they have as any other couples would have.

The show is slightly longer than a TV episode but then it is still packed with jokes. The show is drawn in 2D instead of the 3D which most cartoons are. Overall the show is lame, entertaining and suitable for the whole family to watch. I will give it 3.5 stars out of 5.

Kudos to the Simpsons!
