Again, I am older by one year old again.
This year, I am a bit disappointed as none of my close friends asked me out before my birthday as I have expected them to do so. I had even did not plan anything on the day before my birthday so that when they call me I will be free. I think I have spoiled them by always asking them out instead of them doing the same to me.
Anyway for this year, the day started off with me working early in the morning, then did with a small celebration, a dim sum lunch with my family and Gum Gum. After which, spent the whole day slacking at home, which is a bit sad as well.
Well, the day came and went in a flash. Before I know it, the day was over already. Another birthday, another day.
Well this year nothing special. This is another rest day for me.
Hope next year will be better.

Happy 2nd Birthday Oscar!
Today is Oscar's second birthday. Time really flies fast. He joined our family when he was 3 months old in July 2006 and now he is 2 years old already.
In my family, we already considered as him as part of a family. He has a house of his own, where he can sleep in and hide all his toys inside as well. He also got an open access to every part of my house, he is now even sleeping on my bed even though he got a house of his own. Haha.
So on this special day, we got him some presents, well a new toy and a new snack for him. Seems like he like it a lot as he refuses to let us take it away from him. Haha.
So Happy Birthday to him again! He is the best dog in the whole wide world! We will always love you!

Happy Birthday Mum!
Today is my mum birthday! Due to some miscommunication before, there are some problems.
So being a good son, I decided to take half day leave and bring the whole family out for lunch. I chose Peach Garden @ Thomson Plaza since my mum like dim sum a lot. (Look out for the review in Yebber soon!) When me and my sis reached the place, she then told me that actually my mum and her had been to this place before already. Still, in the end the whole family enjoyed the lunch and my mum was once again HAPPY!
After which, went to Jane's Cake Station to get a chocolate fudge cake for my mum as well. Supposed to go shopping with my mum for her birthday present but think the lunch made everyone too full and tired.
At night, my mum cooked dinner and we had a mini cake cutting session at home.
After that, me and LLT went to watch this show as she wanna to watch for sometime. P.S. I love you.

Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) is beautiful, smart, and married to the love of her life — a passionate, funny and impetuous Irishman named Gerry (Gerard Butler). So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. What Holly did not know was Gerry actually planned in advance, by writing a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief but in rediscovering herself. The first message arrives on Holly's 30th birthday in the form of a cake and, to her utter shock, a tape recording from Gerry, who proceeds to order her to get out and "celebrate herself." In the weeks and months that follow, more letters from Gerry are delivered in surprising ways, each sending her on a new adventure and each signing off in the same way: P.S. I Love You. Holly's mother (Kathy Bates) and best friends, Sharon (Gina Gershon) and Denise (Lisa Kudrow), begin to worry that Gerry's letters are keeping Holly tied to the past, but, in fact, each letter is pushing her further into a new future. With Gerry's words as her guide, Holly embarks on a touching, exciting and often hilarious journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into new beginning for life.
Hmm... This is supposed to be a teary movie where everyone around me was saying that it is very good but I think otherwise. Sigh.... The first 10 mins of the movie got me and LLT laughing cos this is what happens in reality, well at least in our lives. Haha...I felt that the story a bit too far-fetched for me to believe it. How could he had predicted Holly every move and make sure all the letters come in time? What if Holly decided to do otherwise instead of following him?
Sad to say also Hilary Swank totally fails to convince me as Holly. She is so not suited for the role. She is good for those boyish tough roles but these kind of girly romantic roles should have left to other actress instead. I am touched by the plot but not by the acting. Overall I give this movie 2.5 stars out of 5. Maybe I should read the book instead. Hmm...

A back to gym weekend! Happy Birthday Siti!
This whole weekend, I am happy to say that I am going back to gym for my classes. Back to my normal routine. Hee... Going back to do pump and combat does take more effort as I had not been doing it regularly.
I also watched 2 movies on Saturday as well. Both are Oscar nominated and therefore I make it a must to watch these films.
First movie is La Vie En Rose. Since the lead actress won the Best Actress, it makes me wonder if she can really win Ellen Page of Juno.

The movie is about the life of Edith Piaf’s life. From the slums of Paris to the limelight of New York, Edith Piaf’s life was a battle to sing and survive, live and love. Raised in poverty, Edith’s magical voice and her passionate romances and friendships with the greatest names of the period - Marlene Dietrich, Yves Montand and others- made her a star all around the world. The true story of her incredible destiny opens a window onto the artist’s soul and into a woman’s heart.
This movie moves forward and backward of her life from childhood to her death. Have to say that the lead actress, Marion Cotillard, really deserved the win. She is really good from all the little small habits to her singing. I am totally impressed by her performance. Overall, I give this movie 4 stars out of 5.
The next movie is No Country for Old Men. This movie is nominated for 8 awards and won 4 awards.

The story begins when Llewelyn Moss (Brolin) finds a pickup truck surrounded by a sentry of dead men. A load of heroin and two million dollars in cash are still in the back. When Moss takes the money, he sets off a chain reaction of catastrophic violence that not even the law - in the person of aging, disillusioned Sheriff Bell (Jones) - can contain. As Moss tries to evade his pursuers - in particular a mysterious mastermind who flips coins for human lives (Bardem) - the film simultaneously strips down the American crime drama and broadens its concerns to encompass themes as ancient as the Bible and as bloodily contemporary as this morning's headlines.
For the whole movie, it got comedy hidden inside the horror story. Have to say that the directors are really good to make this dark theme film. The murderer is really good and Javier Bardem really deserves the Best Supporting Actor. he is really scary in the movie and as heartless as well. The story line need some thinking to understand what is going on and with the movie ending abrupt, it did surprised most of the movie goers. The movie is exciting at moments yet got comedy hidden here and there. The acting by the main cast are solid! Overall, I give this movie 4.5 stars out of 5. Think I will go and read the book to understand the plot better.
Watched 2 "got a lot of depth" movies really took a toll on me. Tired!
On Sunday, as usual went to gym, then met with Siti and rest of the mentors to celebrate her birthday! Went KTV to celebrate her birthday. Hope you like your present ok! After which, rushed to airport to send LLT's parents off to BKK and at the same time to eat Popeyes Chicken And Biscuits' Gallery. Ate it 2 times in a day! Hee... Totally wonderful.
The weekend yet went past in a flash. So looking forward to my BKK at the end of this month!

I am one year older yet again!
I am one year older yet again!
Yes! 28 years ago today, I was born! Hee...
So LLT planned the whole plan today and I am jz supposed to follow her!
Hee... After yesterday short discussion, I managed to guessed what she intend to do this morning! Prawn fishing! Hee... So we went to the one near Bishan Park and bought 3 hours of time for fishing, with bait and net, off we went. It was fun! Cos the whole place was near empty and we have 4 ponds to choose from. Within 1st 15 mins, I already got my 1st prawn! Wow! The prawn is big! However my luck did not last long. After 2.5 hors, we only caught 10 prawns, while another uncle caught one after another prawns. Sigh. We not skillful enough but it was fun! Let do it again!
After which, we decided to cook the prawns but somehow dunno how to kill the still jumping prawns, in the end, gave up the idea and decided to keep them in the freezer. After which, went to collect something.
Decided to watch a show (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) since we got some spare time in our hands. I will post the review some other time.
Dinner at a Jap BBQ place at Chijmes, Gyu-Kaku. Good but expensive place where we get to cook our food. Fun! Hee... Sorry we did not go to the place that you originally wanna to bring me, I scare that place very expensive leh. Hee....
After which did some window shopping and then rushed home before midnight to cut my birthday cake with my family! Hee...
The day was spent with fun! Thks LLT for planning it!
Really glad that my family and frens still remember my birthday! Me really very touched! Thks for all your presents!
Danny and SK: Adidas watch
HW: My fav pair of slippers from NUM
LLT: A Nike bag and a beautiful Polarbear hand made card
Family: A mango cake
PS: Today is also the release of my exams results. Happy to announce that I have PASSED! Haa.... Last hurdle to cross! FYP here I come!

Dinner and more Dinners!
Dinner and more Dinners!
Had a few dinners for the past few days. So happy that my frens still remember my birthday is coming and still ask me out to catch up.
Tuesday was my ex colleagues and boss who brought me to a new seafood place at Geylang near Kallang MRT for crabs! Wow we ordered a lot of dishes and crabs of cos and eat until we are full! Hee... A very nice dinner instead and to catch up with them as well. Haa... Thks Gab for the dinner treat!
Wednesday, met up with Danny and SK, my closest frens. Really happy that it was them that asked me out instead of me asking them out. We used to meet up like every week but now we only met up like once every 3 weeks. Meeting them is always something that I look forward cos I can talk to them about everything under the sun. Most of the time, they are also the ones that I will talk to them when i have problems and need some advice. We went to a new place that have steamboat. Not bad but then the ventilation is very bad especially we are seated in a corner. They gave me a present and I gave them christmas presents. Hope you all liked the presents ok! Hee...
Thursday, hmm... met up HW, surprised to receive an sms from him, will still a bit piss off with him over something, but then I dun think he knows what is happening anyway. Sigh... Think I really owe him something in my last life. Well HAPPY to finally meet him for dinner anyway. After some "who ha", decided to eat at Waraku. We were lucky as we after we were seated, the queue was formed and it jz grew longer and longer. Phew! After a good hearty dinner, and a good talk, we went for a little shopping. I feel that it seems that we grew apart as we got older. Hmm... I wonder why? Well sometimes I really cannot stand his attitude as well. I wonder did he treat his other frens like that or jz simply that me for granted!
After so many dinners and had not been hitting the gym, think I am going to be fat again! Haa...
Thks you all for asking me out for dinner! The though and the company is all that matters!

Kumar: The Queen / Happy Birthday Dad!
Kumar: The Queen / Happy Birthday Dad!

Finally, The "Queen" of Singapore is here! Of cos I am talking about Kumar! I have never been to Boom Boom Room, by the time I want to go, they closed it alr. So when I heard that he is going to have a show in the "Durian", I jz went to grab the tickets. Despite, I got Cat 3 tickets ($68), the seats I got are freaking good! Haa... So proud of myself!
The show started off promising, with him and his Bend-Hims (Hunk? Erhh...) and Bend-Hers (Ah Gua? Erhh...). For me, the best part of the show was the first portion and the last portion. Loved his jokes! He is really not afraid of anything! His politically incorrect jokes, his gay jokes, and his racist jokes. he even jokes about the guy "upstairs". Haa....
So he is the Queen in the show and decided to be Queen in other countries so he travelled around to be Queen in other countries! Good at times if not draggy most of the time. Still he look good in his dresses and his slender leg, tiny waist, is enough to make every gals jealous. Haa... He looked his best at the UK dress which he looked like Posh Spice. Haa...
Other than Kumar, the rest of the cast looks a bit rough on the edges and seem like they did not rehearse enough. Their dance moves are not uniform and at times sloppy.
Overall, I give the show 4 stars out of 5. Kumar saved the show!
Today is my dad's birthday! Mum decided not to go out and eat and stay at home for a home cooked meal! Great! His present is the recent Shanghai trip that I paid for it. Haa....

Happy Birthday HW!
Today is my bro, HW's birthday! So Happy Birthday to you!
Met up with him over the weekend. It has been a long time since we last met. Had a nice chat with him and at the same time to pass him his birthday present!
Bought a cheeky t-shirt for him! Mr Well Hung huh? Not I say one but he used to, and still, claimed that himself! Haa.... Next time must force him to wear it! Haa....

Today is also Mid Autumn Festival. Since my parents are away in Shanghai, only left me, my sis and Oscar to look at the moon and eat mooncakes. Haa.... Having the whole house to ourselves! Haa....

Today marks the 1st birthday of my dear dog, OSCAR!
He had been with us for the past 10 months and he hand brought a lot of fun and happiness to my family! He is now an official family member now and I wonder life without him now. Hmm.... That will be very sad! Till now he had learnt how to do a lot of things / tricks and had made a lot of frens as well! Always forcing my neighbours to stop and give him a pat before they can procced past my flat. Haa... So naughty!
Had not been bringing him out although he will go for his walk 2 times a day. I will bring him to the beach soon, as a birthday outing! Haa... So whoever is interested to join me jz let me know ok!
Presents also can send to him ok! He will be happy to receive them as well! Haa....

Today is my dearest little sis 21st birthday! Happy Birthday! Wow time really flies fast! Well you are an adult now so better start acting like one ok! So like the present that dad, mum, me and oscar bought for you. Haa... Can see that you are very surprised to see that hanging on ur bedroom door yesterday! Ur eyes jz lit up when you saw what was the present! Haa... Come on you really dun think that we will jz give u one DVD as present rite?
A sick polarbear, that is me, had to go to school today as his classes starting from today onwards! So poor thing! With the start of my classes, I had to miss my gym lessons! I am going to miss my pump and combat classes. Sad! Lectures, tutorials and TMAs coming my way! Before I know it, exams will be coming my way!
Jz realised that I had forgotten that I had signed up some computer lessons on Dreamweaver, Flash and HTML. Hmm.... Seem like my sat is also going to be packed as well. Haa.... Me really STM leh. Haa....
